Niugini Good Samaritan Foundation Association is a Papua New Guinean registered nonprofit organization that builds effective partnerships with local communities, faith-based organizations, Government instrumentalities, donor agencies and like-minded civil society organizations operating in Papua New Guinea. The main focus of the organization is to act a development vehicle from which to deliver much-needed services to the beneficiary communities in the areas of health, education, agriculture, fisheries, financial inclusion, biodiversity conservation and building climate resilience.

Niugini Good Samaritan Foundation Association was founded by a group of Papua New Guinean elites whose main interest is to reach out to the unreached, touch the untouched, serve the unserved people from all walks of life. As Good Samaritans, the organization strives to take ownership of development challenges that affect the livelihoods of the most vulnerable people in society across Papua New Guinea-with compassion and selfless act of kindness and good will for all people. Having seen and witnessed the overwhelming need for service delivery stemming from decades of negligence, injustices and inequalities that affect the livelihoods of ordinary Papua New Guineans, Niugini Good Samaritan Foundation Association has taken a bold step towards an implementation of community development programs that advocates for fairness, social justice and inclusiveness for all Papua New Guineans to enjoy quality of life.

Since inception Niugini Good Samaritan Foundation Association have been able to establish good rapport with local communities across Papua New Guinea because they have been able to touch the heart and soul of real development issues that affects people and that has led to building long term partnerships with some key development partners. Some of the notable development partners are; Sir Brian Bell Foundation, Buk Bilong Pikinini, Nekamai Limited, FIFAI Management Services, Gandin Investment Limited, Huon-Gulf District Administration and Morobe Provincial Government.

Youth Empowerment and Capacity Building Program

We are reaching out to support the Lae Urban youths at the DCA Waterfront volunteering to learn and master the skills of landscaping and beautification at public recreational areas under the banner of our Youth Empowerment and Capacity Building Program. We are committed to building an entrepreneurial skills and instill personal viability for the unemployed city residents- a crime diversion strategy that helps to keep the youths out of criminal activities and promote positive mindset and behavior in their community.

Women Empowerment and Capacity Building Program

We are reaching out to the most vulnerable women in society including widows, single parents, victims of gender-based violence and economically disadvantaged mothers to have access to better skills training programs to enhance their socio-economic livelihoods and enjoy quality of life. The skills training programs help women to learn new skills in sewing cloths, floriculture, bilum and craft making, baking and cookery and financial literacy training.

School Library Support Program

We are building strong partnerships with local partners and education authorities to reach out to schools to support with donations of library books and other resource materials under our School Library Support Program. The overaching aim of the School Library Support Program is to enhance the level of literacy in schools across Papua New Guinea. Our key development partners in this program are Sir Brian Bell Foundation and Huon-Gulf District Development Authority.

The President of Niugini Good Samaritan Foundation Incorporated (NGSFI) represents the organization and reports to the Board of Directors.

Deputy President supports the president in all operations of the organization.

Coordinator: Development Programs

The Development Program Coordinator, coordinates all development programs under the organization. He reports to the Deputy President.

Mr. Anton ALLAN

Sub-coordinator: School Library Support Program

Sub-coordinator: School Library Support Program looks after all activities relating to School Library Support Program. He reports to the Coordinator -Development Programs and the Deputy President.

Mr. Igemi KOGIANO

Sub-Coordinator: Information Communication Technology (ICT)

Sub-Coordinator: Information Communication Technology (ICT) looks after all ICT duties related to the operation of the organization. Reports to the President and the Deputy President.

Ms. Clare Ame RAVULA

Coordinator: Finance and HR

Coordinator: Finance and HR reports to the President and Deputy President regarding all Finance and HR duties of the Organization.

Ms. Cathy MASO

Sub-Coordinator: Office Administration

Sub-Coordinator: Office Administration reports to the Coordinator Finance and HR and the President. She is responsible for all Office and Administration operations of the Organization.
